On 20^th October, in parallel with Paris+ by Art Basel, Artcurial will be auctionning the Eclectic Eye collection from a London apartment. Assembled over the space of 20 years by discerning collectors, this is a rare, cutting-edge collection that brings together objects and periods. From the great modern artists Berthe Morisot and Pierre Bonnard, to contemporaries Peter Doig and Olafur Eliasson, as well as rare 18^th-century furniture and exceptional Chinese and Sèvres porcelain. This collection of nearly 160 lots will invite you on a unique journey into the free and intuitive spirit of collectors.

As every year, the Old Master & 19^th Century Art department will hold its prestige sale on 22^nd November, in conjunction with Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale. The sale will feature a masterpiece by Jean-Honoré Fragonard: The Sacrifice to the Minotaur. Estimated €4,000,000 - 6,000,000, this oil on canvas has been kept in the same family for over a century. An exceptional, unpublished still life by Louyse Moillon and a Saint John the Evangelist by Bartolomé Esteban Murillo will also be offered for sale.

On Tuesday, September 12^th, to coincide with Paris Design Week, of which Artcurial is a partner, the auctions house will be marking the start of the Design season with two auctions: one in tribute to the Finnish designer Paavo Tynell and the second devoted to Brazilian Design.

The Monaco Auction Week sales, which was held from 16^th to 19^th July 2023 at the Hotel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo, were a resounding success with Artcurial’s Jewellery, Watches, Fashion & Luxury Accessories, Post-War & Contemporary Art and, for the first time, Design departments all shined on the French Riviera, totaling over €14 M.

There was a great sense of excitement for Le Mans 24 Hours this year, with the world’s most famous endurance race celebrating its 100^th edition. Artcurial Motorcars and Le Mans Classic, long-term partners, return this month to mark this special anniversary.

In 2023, Artcurial has expanded into Switzerland: the auction house Beurret Bailly Widmer Auktionen became Artcurial Beurret Bailly Widmer. Following this acquisition, the Swiss auction house returns this year with its traditional sale of Modern & Contemporary Art on 21^st June in Basel, which will be broadcast live at Artcurial in Paris. More than 330 lots will be auctioned, including artworks by Eduardo Chillida, Maurice Denis, Diego Giacometti, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Günther Uecker and Andy Warhol.

After a record year in 2022, Artcurial is pleased to announce that it is expanding its business into Switzerland with the acquisition of the Swiss auction house Beurret Bailly Widmer Auktionen, which becomes Artcurial Beurret Bailly Widmer.
