Didier Ludot, fashion collector, set up his shop in 1974 at the Palais Royal. Inspired by the Liberation collection created by Yves Saint-Laurent in January 1971, he selected several dresses and accessories from the same period which he sold successfully. His eye, his instinct and his knowledge make him the greatest collector of vintage clothing and accessories, and his boutique has acquired international fame among elegant women, fashion professionals as well as museums and institutions. Within his collection he has brought together essentials from Alaïa, Balenciaga, Balmain, Chanel, Dior, Grès, Yves Saint Lorent.

Among the highlights should be mentioned a 1937 Chanel dress estimated at €3,000-4,000, a 1962 Balenciaga dress with a hematite-embroidered top estimated at €1,800-2,000, a similar example of which is kept in the Balenciaga Archives. Two Yves Saint Laurent jackets, embroidered by Maison Lesage from the Spring-Summer 1988 "Tribute to painters" collection. Another piece by the couturier, a long black dress from 1997, is a prototype worn by Carla Bruni on the runway.
