With the success of numerous international photography events such as Paris Photo and Les Rencontres d’Arles, France has become a key venue for connoisseurs and collectors from around the world.

Artcurial organises auctions that focus on monographic sets, from early daguerreotypes to contemporary digital prints. The department brings important private collections to the market, enabling buyers to discover a key part of the history of photography from the second half of the 20th century, such as the Pierre Molinier - Emmanuelle Arsan Collection sale in 2015, the Willy Ronis Estate, Stéphane Kovalsky Collection in 2016 and in 2021, and the sale of Dora Maar’s photographic collection in 2022.

Artcurial’s specialists are at your disposal for free and confidential valuations of your photographs or your collection.
