For the past ten years, Artcurial has been presenting sales dedicated to past civilisations. The Antiquities & Islamic Art department offers a global view of the infinite diversity of works and records that have been passed down to us.

The sale of renowned collections such as Wolf, Bouvier, Henry de MontherlantWenziner, Coiffu, Froment, Princess Roxane Kadjar and Edmonde Charles-Roux has enabled the department to forge privileged links with the most important collectors, guaranteeing them the highest standards of provenance.

The quality of the objects offered for sale by the department has enabled Artcurial to record some remarkable results: in 2017, a high relief with masks fetched €629,000. More recently, a lustre pottery star tile decorated with a fox in a landscape reached over €120,000 in 2021, while a lustre lantern fetched over €110,000 in 2022.

Thanks to the assistance of renowned experts and researchers, the department offers collectors the assurance of a qualitative enhancement as well as international distribution for their works.

Artcurial’s specialists are at your disposal for free and confidential valuations of your antiquities and Islamic works of art.
