Monaco Sculptures 2023: Artcurial is preparing the fourth edition of the event sale
Following the successful previous editions, Monaco Sculptures returns this summer for a fourth session. Last year, the sale totaled 5,964,650 euros fees included and brought together a selection of sculptures by iconic artists of the 20th and 21st centuries such as Wang Keping, Bernar Venet, Christian Lapie, Philippe Hiquily, Baltasar Lobo, César, Arman or Marino Marini.

Following the successful previous editions, Monaco Sculptures returns this summer for a fourth session. Last year, the sale totaled 5,964,650 euros including fees and brought together a selection of sculptures by iconic artists of the 20th and 21st centuries such as Wang Keping, Bernar Venet, Christian Lapie, Philippe Hiquily, Baltasar Lobo, César, Arman or Marino Marini.
From May, sculptures will be exhibited in the gardens of Monte-Carlo and the emblematic establishments of the Société des Bains de Mer. A veritable open-air museum will take over the streets of Monte-Carlo until July, from the gardens of Petite Afrique to the Saint-James, from Beaumarchais Square to the Hôtel de Paris, the Hermitage and the Monte-Carlo Beach.
This year, the Monaco Sculptures sale will honor sculpture in the Mediterranean, the pool of artists since time immemorial. The selection of works from the schools of Nice, Israel, Egypt, and Morocco will offer a new sculpture walk around the Principality. All the sculptures will be sold at auction next July, in the salons of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.
