Black patent leather Opyum pumps, Yves Saint-Laurent
Estimate: €100-120

The love of fashion seems to have never left Catherine Deneuve, who has always acknowledged it. “I'm crazy about shoes!”, she confessed in 1989 in an interview in Madame Figaro. All types of shoes will be on display in this digital auction, which will take place from 7th to 14th September. Pairs of luxury shoes estimated between €30 and €150, by Louboutin, Yves Saint-Laurent, Louis Vuitton or Prada. In satin, patent leather or suede, with open or pointed toes, with small or high heels, sober in black or extravagant in fuchsia, this selection should delight lovers of beautiful pieces. “This selection is just like her, of unequalled elegance,” says Clara Vivien, specialist in the Fashion & Luxury Accessories department.

This exceptional sale session includes almost twenty-five lots signed by Yves Saint-Laurent, such as a superb pair of Opyum pumps in black patent leather with structured heels featuring the House's famous intertwined initials. There are also around twenty pairs of Prada shoes, such as the red suede sandals worn by the actress at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 for the screening of the film “Les Salauds”, estimated at €70/90.

Artcurial is pleased to support the Restos du Cœur organisation, thanks to Catherine Deneuve’s donation, which “will allow everyone to participate in this gesture of solidarity” as Patrice Douret, president of the charity, points out. In parallel to the online sale, a selection of these exceptional pieces will be on display at Artcurial from 7th to 13rd September.
